Almost 5 months

Good evening all,

I had written in my earlier post that I was going to share all that has been happening in the past 5 months with William....So further ado...People were not kidding when they said that the time will go by fast. It is hard to believe that is going to be 5 months, before I know it he will be walking and talking. William is a very active baby and people are so amazed at how active and smart he is. We have been playing a few videos for him and he seems to enjoy the Baby Einstein video and Baby Phonics. Yissel swears that William is saying Banana ever since we been playing Baby Phonics. I haven't heard him yet, but of course he is chatting a lot. Especially at 8 in the morning. As my dad mentioned a couple weeks ago while I was on the phone with him, that he is a crack up.

As far as his development at this point this is what should be happening:

Following a well-established nighttime routine, which might include a bath or a bedtime story, may help settle your baby to sleep. It's a good idea to consistently "sequence" your baby toward slumber, as in this example: Feed him, give him a bath, put him in pajamas, read him a book, sing a lullaby or play some music, and then put him down.

A beloved routine gives you and your baby plenty of time to connect and wind down. You may decide to alternate going-to-bed activities with your partner (you do the bath, he reads the story, and so on). Or, to give both of you a regular break, try taking turns, with one person responsible for putting your baby to bed each night.

We do give him bath every other night and he enjoys it, we read and sing to him a lot, but he doesn't want to miss a thing, so sometimes it's hard to get him to bed. We put him to bed with us and with him moving so much me and Yissel end up on the edge of the bed. At least he only wakes up only once during the night, so we can sleep pretty well, we just have work on going to bed earlier.

An Update

Can you belive it William is going to be 5 months on the 6th of Sep. So much has happened since William was born and I have been kept really busy. So there is a lot to talk about and I will be writting more post. So keep an eye out for new post.
